Moose
Teddy
We adopted Moose from a Colorado shelter on November 21st, 2025 after being in the shelter for 8 months. Moose is the ultimate happy go lucky goof ball and 100% love bug! He has fit in perfectly and instant besties with his frenchie sister Bexley. He is a blessing of puppy power and champion snuggler.
Upon his initial exam with our vet, we discovered that Moose had Heartworm Disease. He began the long and difficult treatment in January of 2026 with treatment continuing over the next few months. The treatment is long and hard and Moose has been a trooper.
Moose's diagnosis of Heartworm Disease is a heavy price these animals pay without preventative treatment and emphasis the importance of Heartworm testing. We have every hope that Moose is going to kick heartworms butt and come out on the other side, helping to raise awareness for the importance of Heartworm Preventative.
Our Time February 14th, 2025 to October 20th, 20025
We adopted Teddy Valentines Day 2025. She has been an amazing addition to our family, instantly fitting in and showing off her silly girl side. Having many nicknames, Teddy Bear describes her cute cuddly self.
Teddy came to us with much needed dental work and was diagnosed with marginal lymphoma and an irregular heartbeat. She had her spleen removed March 19th, 2025 and has had a new lease on life. We continue to monitor both her cancer condition and irregular heartbeat and she is expected to continue on the path of her happy self.
In August of 2025, Teddy fell ill to a rare disorder. Newly discovered by Colorado State University in conjunction with the Morris Animal Foundation, she was diagnosed with PBLEB, polyclonal b-cell lymphocytosis of english bulldogs. Teddy underwent treatment and started oral chemo, she passed in October succumbing to her advance age and failing health.
Teddy was the sweetest, goofiest mama pup ever. She had a crazy zest for life and a good snuggle. We will miss her floppy ears and wiggly walk! She will always be our threadbare velveteen rabbit.
Thumbelina
We adopted Thumbelina, July 21, 2024 from a kill shelter in California. Through the quick actions of volunteers and rescue she was pulled seconds before being euthanized.
Thumbelina came to us completely shut down, used for breeding and thrown out like trash, the scars of her past ran deep. Through patience, love and time Thumbelina came out of her shell. She has become a goofy, loveable girl known for her "Thumb jumps" and a fan favorite everywhere she goes.
Seeing her overcome fear obstacles has been such a joy to watch.
